Survivor Ghost Island Ponderosa: Juror #1 is an instant classic

CBS

Despite their torch fading and Survivor Ghost Island play ending, juror #1’s Ponderosa content is already straight fire and shows what we’re missing.

Warning: This Survivor Ghost Island Ponderosa piece will discuss the latest episode of the season and detail the first member of the jury.

A fitting end for a cocksure player; Chris Noble was absolutely blindsided despite taking 10 of the 13 players away to the well in order to orchestrate Domenick and Wendell’s blindside. Wendell knew that people didn’t want to play under a dictatorship, and thankfully he didn’t have to play his idol as Chris was sent packing.

As is tradition, a Survivor player on the jury gets their own Ponderosa video, taking a brief look at their emotions just as their game fades away while offering an introspective and maybe a laugh or two. Chris Noble, however, followed in the footsteps of The Dragons and provided a mother-forking rap video for us all to enjoy in unbridled levels of irony.

“Living the dream on Ponderosa / swung the fences, I call it Sammy Sosa.” Between the shots of the helicopter, jumping on a jet ski, having the Ponderosa crew fan you in a ridiculous music video and big-timing the shoot; this was everything you could hope for in a music video from The Noble One, and then some!

Of course, we also got a more traditional Survivor Ponderosa video, as we saw Chris’ honest reactions to getting blindsided and having the “Naviti Strong” mantra fly right out the door. What hurts him the most was that he didn’t use the idol, warning the next person to receive J.T.’s idol to use it even if you feel safe.

The whole Ponderosa video has a tinge of a lack of self-awareness, although I’m sure Chris had people talk to him about his game as the King of Ponderosa. Plus, we got to see behind the curtain of this magical resort away from home, including a look at the menu when it’s not used for Survivor! Pretty cheap with Fijian dollars!

Chris Noble sets the Survivor Ponderosa tone well with this week’s video. Let’s hope the rest of the jury has the same optimism as him as they make their way out of the game.
