Cochran Found His Calling! – Season 26

John Cochran was known as the dorky guy from Harvard who got sunburnt and later betrayed his alliance on South Pacific. When he returned for the second Fans vs. Favorites season (Caramoan), he actually became somewhat decent at the challenges.

One of the best performances at a challenge for Cochran came when the contestants had to eat gross food. The first item was beetle larva, in which Cochran ate it like it was a chicken tender. The next item was a shipworm where Cochran didn’t down it the fastest, but still moved on (edging Andrea out by seconds).

Cochran then ate balut (duck embryos) to get into the finals where he squared off against Malcolm. The two had to see who could down pig brains the fastest in what Probst described as the “David vs. Goliath” battle.

Cochran ultimately won in what was his first ever Individual Immunity win. They say everyone has a secret talent. Eating gross food is apparently Cochran’s calling.
