7. Desiree Afuye

As Kellyn’s likely second in command, Desiree has been a big proponent of “Naviti Strong.” However, in the grander scheme of things, her win equity is scant. Her closest alliance members are Chelsea and Kellyn, with Kellyn coming mostly out of necessity to keep herself safe. She received the lone vote twice in unanimous Malolo tribe (both Stephanie and James), showing that her name comes up first even in futility.

We know that Desiree’s name has to keep coming up for a reason, but to her credit, the edit hasn’t buried her just yet. Sure, she opened the season by saying she was bad at puzzles, and she even cost her tribe a challenge because of a puzzle, but in the individual game, she hasn’t been a target.

She has been on the wrong side of voting numbers both times, voting for Libby against the majority numbers (even if she was tipped off). She’ll likely come forward in the edit once she nears elimination, which doesn’t bode well after two quiet episodes.
