Even though he escaped for another week, Michael now has to save himself against two separate eliminations in two consecutive Tribal Councils. Even if Donathan wanted to use an idol on him, Michael would only be saved for one elimination, forcing everyone to come to a consensus to vote him out at the second vote. It presents Donathan with the likeliest option of not using it on Michael.

That’s not to say that Michael doesn’t have some options. At any time that Kellyn tries to take out either Donathan or Laurel, the men in the majority control of original Naviti can easily swing over to Michael to protect him for a Tribal to vote her out. Domenick even mentioned last episode that Kellyn scared her, and fear tends to lead to action in the game of Survivor.

Michael’s best shot is that he wins one of the two Individual Immunity necklaces that will be present at the next Immunity Challenge. However, as Sebastian noted, the kid’s got lumber legs, making a pull-up strength and endurance challenge something that might tire him out quickly over others.
