2. Wendell Holland

At a certain point, it seemed like Wendell gave up in his head-to-head pull-up competition with Domenick. After continuing a challenge for a long time when it’s two people in power, there has to be a balance between tossing it to another player and exerting effort to a point where it becomes believable to drop out. Where Wendell excelled, Devon and Ashley failed during Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers last season.

Still, from an editing perspective, we still see a giant emphasis on Domenick over Wendell. He actually sat back a bit on this vote, although the two had a meeting of the minds live during Tribal Council. Michael was a bigger mover and shaker, trying to shake the very agreeable Kellyn by telling her he has an idol, but both Dom and Wendell agreed that he didn’t have one due to just how hard he pushed the idea.

At one point earlier in the season, Wendell’s tribemates sang “Happy Birthday” to his girlfriend. The next episode should see that moment pay off for Wendell in a big way.
