Survivor Ghost Island power rankings episode 11: Crazy Eights

3. Laurel Johnson

Despite Laurel almost going home last week, by escaping Kellyn’s extra vote, she’s in a prime position to make a deep run. Kellyn said that lines would be drawn in the sand at the merge vote, but with the majority voting Chris and two people voting Libby, the real division will occur during Survivor Ghost Island episode 12.

Laurel has been battling her long-term goals with her ongoing alliance plans, as she’s needed to go against the aims of Malolo at times. However, another problem she has is that there will be a point where she needs to build a resume, and her application for Sole Survivor will likely go to a more experienced candidate like Domenick or Wendell, as they have been controlling the game in a non-destructive way.

I believe that Laurel will be safe after the next episode, but she will most likely be Kellyn’s “Naviti Strong” target for a Malolo player. Seemingly headed for a 4-4 split, she could either become safe with the use of an idol, not be targeted if the alliance is made aware before the vote, or she could be immune from a rock draw if we see a deadlock.
