4. Donathan Hurley

After playing an idol on himself in the nonplussed Tribal Council that saw Jenna go home, Donathan seemingly looks on the outs. Of course, Kellyn doesn’t see what Wendell and Domenick see, as she has been targetting Michael for some time due to him being an idol wunderkind. I doubt Donathan will be treated the same way Michael was treated, but then again, I doubted that “Naviti Strong” would be an actual phrase on television 29 days into a 39-day game where only one person can win a million dollars.

The most painful part of Donathan’s game lately is that he’s produced some great ideas with some awful results. The smart play in a two versus three situation is to throw your votes with the closest available partner onto an opponent and use an idol on yourself, yet Jenna tried to throw him under the bus by voting him out.

That was his chance to finally make a big move on his own, even though he asked his friend Laurel to help him out (and required a group Malolo effort to help him get the idol at the shelter in the first place).
