Speaking publicly for the first time since her arrest, Survivor winner Jenna Morasca is “back and better than ever,” per her recent tweets.

The last time we wrote about Survivor: The Amazon winner Jenna Morasca, it was under unfortunate circumstances. She had reportedly been arrested earlier in the year for a DUI and drug paraphernalia charges after an unfortunate incident, and understandably she has been quiet since then in the months to pass.

Fortunately, things are looking on the up and up for one of the youngest winners in the show’s history, as the two-time Survivor player and The Amazing Race runner has broken her silence on Twitter to announced she’s “back and better than ever.

To be fair, not every former player is active on social media, for one reason or another. For example, she had tweeted just ten separate times between August 2016 and this past week, showing that staying off social media isn’t indicative of anything other than someone with much more to do than offer their hot takes on the current seasons of the show.

Regardless, it’s good to see Jenna Morasca back in the public eye for the better this time, as she and other Survivor winners have had a rough go of things in the past. Todd Herzog from Survivor China had encountered problems with alcohol in the past, but thankfully has been on a good run of things for over a year now after producers of Dr. Phil allegedly provided him alcohol and Xanax.

The road to recovery is hard for those who have been affected by drugs and alcohol, and society often judges those harshly for being subjected to the hardships of addiction. While it would be interesting to see Jenna Morasca out on the island and competing for a million dollars in an all-winners season, a clean bill of health and the acceptance of the Survivor community would be more than enough.
