One of the most inexplicable things from Survivor Ghost Island was Sebastian Noel and Jenna Bowman’s showmance being cut. Their vlog has answers.

We should all understand that there are different types of fans for Survivor. Some have kept with the game to see how it has evolved over the years, following the action for the focus on big moves. Others like to see the storytelling of a season’s winner, the downfall of a runner-up or even both. Some, however, are there to become stans for players and become rabidly obsessive over their lives.

For Survivor Ghost Island, Sebastian Noel and Jenna Bowman played into that last segment of the fandom, as the two had made a shared Instagram account before the season even aired (I believe it was set to private). Though it was teased on the show, we never really got to see how their relationship started beyond romantic smelling of dead weasel-smelling hair.

If that’s the kind of stuff that interests you, then those questions and more can be found on Sebastian and Jenna’s new vlog on YouTube. Their very first entry answers questions sent in by fans, as well as going into the story of how the two first got to know each other. If you would have thought “on a reality show for a million dollars,” you would be mistaken!

In fact, it came before they even arrived in Fiji, as the two were sitting beside each other on the 11-hour plane ride over, flirting with each other secretly to avoid the glaring eyes and scornful actions of production handlers. Though it never culminated in much more on the island, the two had been in a long-term relationship for the 10 months following the show.

Next: Let’s Rank the Survivor Seasons by Their Locations

I’m not one for vlogs between couples, but it is interesting to get to know some of the more underedited players in Survivor Ghost Island. It may be the most imbalanced season in terms of character and story development beyond a select few players, so you may find yourself learning a thing or two more about the contestants via YouTube.
