One of the young guns starring in Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, Devon Pinto has been pulling off a new hustle; getting engaged.
When Devon Pinto presented himself to his Hustler tribe in Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, he seemed to be just a chill, cool dude who was living life to the fullest. While he was secretly hiding his status as a smart, game-aware player while in Fiji, it wasn’t a hard persona to front. The guy, for all intents and purposes, he does life moment to moment.
It’s why he wasn’t too concerned when he lost to Ben Driebergen in the Final Four fire-making twist at the end of season 35, as he knew about the challenge, had the opportunity to prepare and didn’t follow through. Of course, it would have presented earlier vote-out dynamics had he known previously, but you could see at Ponderosa he wasn’t taking it too hard.
In that respect, it’s been great to see Devon living up his easy, breezy lifestyle after appearing on television, posting pictures of him surfing, climbing and hanging out in a van down by the river on Instagram. Most of the time, his girlfriend Courtney is with him, and the great outdoors is the perfect place to ask for a hand in marriage.
Devon Pinto chose the Waterton National Park in Alberta, Canada as the perfect spot to ask his girlfriend to marry him. “A special place I will always hold dearly to my heart,” Devon wrote in his Instagram post caption. “Where I asked Courtney to marry me … so yeah we’re engaged!!”

Alberta’s pristine lakes, majestic mountain ranges and gorgeous landscapes make it the perfect place for anyone to visit, let alone announce to the world you’ve gotten engaged (I might be biased as a Canadian). On behalf of us at Surviving Tribal, we’d like to congratulate Devon and Courtney
