Three Survivor players in two teams will compete in an all-reality edition of Fear Factor on July 31, with $50,000 going to the winners’ charity of choice.
Though there’s a Survivor player that will be returning to the island to compete in an international version later this week, we also have three Survivor players competing in a different reality show earlier than that. Celebrity Fear Factor will see four teams of two compete in a series of electrifying stunts that will test the mind, will and body of its players, airing on July 31 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
As such, promos for the episode have been released, with Abi-Maria Gomes and Sierra Dawn Thomas teaming up against Caleb Reynolds and his brother Blake. Those first three represent Survivor players, while Blake is thrown in for … good luck? Either way, there is a bit of friendly competition at stake, as Big Brother will send Zach Rance and Cody Calafiore, plus married couple Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly, as opposing teams.
Each pair is working for themselves, however, as they are competing for $50,000 to a charity of their choice. They’re really giving up a lot in order to secure money for their cause, however, as a sneak peek of the “Survivor v. Big Brother” episode shows the teams crawling through bugs, worms and cockroaches in order to share puzzle piece information, slide over to their teammates and clear the tunnel of doom the quickest.
Sneak Peek: Survivor v. Big Brother
Which reality show will prove they have what it takes to face their fears—Survivor, or Big Brother? 💥 Find out on this Tuesday’s episode of Celebrity Fear Factor!

There are also individual promos for each of the teams, including Abi-Maria and Sierra talking about their worst fears and challenges they might expect to see in Celebrity Fear Factor.
If you thought Celebrity Fear Factor would have a team of dedicated copywriters to describe their videos accurately, the video of Caleb and Blake below suggests they both appeared on Survivor and “together,” neither of which is accurate.
Caleb Reynolds has proven to be the most elastic CBS reality player we’ve ever seen. He’s the former when repping Celebrity Fear Factor, yet he’s a teammate for the latter when competing in Candy Crush. Get you a man who can do both!
