We’re just days away from the official cast reveal of Survivor: David vs. Goliath, with CBS teasing that we’re one month away from the debut earlier today.
The Survivor offseason is just days away from finally ending, bringing the community together to talk about the cast of David vs. Goliath, the many twists and turns we can expect, what we think of the players involved and finally bring an end to the long national nightmare that is the Big Brother-led reality television space.
Earlier today, CBS sent out a tweet reminding people that we’re just one month away from the premiere of Survivor: David vs. Goliath on September 26, indicating that the official cast reveal is just around the corner. Additionally, CBS updated their digital storefront to add David vs. Goliath t-shirts for men and women, with the men’s shirt in standard black, women’s slim fit tees in lime green and a grey pullover hoodie for all.
Typically, a Survivor season’s cast is revealed about a month ahead of launch, giving the members of the press who interviewed the players ahead of the season’s premiere to present their interviews and preseason coverage. Since our start at Surviving Tribal, each of Game Changers, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers and Ghost Island had their casts officially revealed on a Wednesday, meaning August 29 is the likeliest date for David vs. Goliath.
Some of the castaways have been officially revealed ahead of time, with Bi Nguyen, John Hennigan (“Johnny Mundo” or “John Morrison” for wrestling fans) and Mike White being known commodities outside of the game. This will mark the third season in a row with no returning players, which is the longest streak without returning players since seasons 28-30.
We’ll be here to provide our cast assessments, videos, social media accounts and more when the Survivor: David vs. Goliath cast is officially announced.
