The Florida Hot Cop is keeping the party local, hosting a meet and greet at a Buffalo Wild Wings ahead of the Survivor: David vs. Goliath premiere.

It’s been an upwards journey for Dan Rengering the past year. He was highlighted as being a Hot Cop during Hurricane Irma relief, vaulting him to viral sensation status just by being attractive while doing his job. It’s helped parlay opportunities that few dream of, including the opportunity to compete in Survivor: David vs. Goliath.

No matter if he’s a true Goliath or a Goliath in bloom (as Jeff Probst puts it), Dan looks to represent Florida well. It’s why it makes sense that he will be hosting a Survivor: David vs. Goliath premiere watch party in his hometown of Gainesville, Florida on the night of the 90-minute premiere; September 26.

Taking place in The Oaks Mall on 6401 W Newberry Road, entry is completely free and it will be an all-ages event, with Buffalo Wild Wings offering food and drink specials for those coming to see the local boy compete on their favorite reality show. Additionally, Dan will be offering a meet and greet opportunity from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. for fans new and old to say hello.

To our knowledge, this is the second announced Survivor: David vs. Goliath premiere party held by a player but the first announced by someone from this season’s cast. Jonny Fairplay is also holding one of his own on behalf of his Unauthorized Survivor NSFW podcast, taking place at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Baltimore, MD.

Who knows; you’ll never know if other Survivor players will show up. Wendell Holland held weekly watch parties during Ghost Island alongside other players, and Gainesville has seen Gina Crews and Spencer Duhm represent the city on the show before.
