There are more questions raised than answers in the Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4 promo, although it does reveal some swap placements.

Warning: The video below shows some players on new tribes in Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4, “Time to Bring About the Charmpocalypse.”

After seeing the Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4 press photos earlier today, I had thought there was nothing left for CBS to tease ahead of the airdate. Alas, the promo commercial gives away a bit more information, especially when it comes to which players are headed where after the first swap of the game.

For starters, we have Natalia, Davie, Alec and Elizabeth guaranteed on the new-look orange tribe, as we saw a shot of all but Alec reacting to a twist and him offering another confessional. We don’t know what the name of this new tribe is, though, unless they still plan on going with David, Goliath and some third unknown name.

The promo also promises “another unpredictable moment in an unpredictable season” while “twist after twist” appears in bold lettering. I really, really hope that it’s more than “there are three tribes now,” because two tribes swapping into three happened as recently as Game Changers.

Considering there are 17 players swapping into three tribes, perhaps two players are exiled, with one of them being Carl. That would make sense why there’s a bunch of coconuts in the ocean as he searches for a clue to something, and why they showed Alison getting splashed in episode 2 as a cover to make it look like multiple people are searching for the clue.

Whatever it ends up being, it looks like there are plenty of twists and turns thrown into Survivor: David vs. Goliath to make it even more dynamic than it needs to be. Perhaps Carl will find an Idol Nullifier and use it to guarantee someone’s demise.
