Survivor: David vs. Goliath post-episode 4 press photos: After the swap
Now that Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4 has aired on television, the post-episode press photos show a lot more of these new tribes in action.
Warning: This post will feature images from Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4, “Time to Bring About the Charmpocalypse,” up to and including the player eliminated at Tribal Council.
Last night was a crazy episode in a series of crazy, exciting episodes that have made up Survivor: David vs. Goliath so far. Despite having the two-to-three-tribe swap spoiled in the preview videos, we saw yet another blindside, players showcase a rainbow of emotions and an interesting Immunity Challenge.
With the episode airing last night, CBS has updated the episode 4 press photos to showcase the majority of the episode’s events, including the players on new tribes and some new looks at Carl on Exile Island.
This is the moment where Bi Nguyen announced her departure from the game, finishing in 17th place with a quit. Everyone on the David tribe is somber. Well, almost everyone.
The self-described “Davids of the Davids” tribe, Jabeni consists of Natalie Cole, Mike White, Lyrsa Torres, Nick Wilson and Angelina Keeley.
The third green expansion Tiva tribe consists of John Hennigan, Christian Hubicki, Gabby Pascuzzi, Dan Rengering and Alison Raybould.
Finally, the orange tribe, Vuku, has Natalia (for now), Davie Rickenbacker, Elizabeth Olson, Kara Kay and Alec Merlino. You might as well call them the orange tribe, knowing how awful things have gone for them in 2018 (no matter the season).
Here are the full notes for Carl Boudreaux’s Idol Nullifier advantage, including the stipulation that you must wrap it around your vote when placing it in the urn.
Here’s also a look at the Exile Island map, which looks a bit silly compared to previous maps of seasons past.
Finally, Carl’s Exile Island camp. It looks a little more derelict than the titular Ghost Island, but at least he has the tools to make fire fairly well.
On the Tiva camp, the newest Slamtonians appeal to the Mayor of Slamtown before learning that John’s opponents go to Slamtown. Christian’s comptroller application is still in the (tree) mail.
Alison is here, too, carrying a huge piece of bamboo. She’s one of the 7′ women that the Davids previously described at tribal.
Dan’s patience knows no bounds as he prepares to help Christian learn how to swing a machete properly.
A previously unseen look at the Tiva tribe basking in the luxuries of their reward.
For some reason, there are not a lot of photos of Vuku or Jabeni not at tribal or the challenge respectively, so accept another look at Lyrsa looking like a boss once more like last week’s splash photo.
Because of that, let’s just jump right to the Immunity Challenge. As a reminder, a spotter helps their tribe get through the challenge blindfolded.
Here’s a closer look at Kara guiding Alec and Davie through the maze.
Kara also guided them across a beam as she retrieved the balls needed for the puzzle portion.
Here’s a side shot of the Jabeni tribe maneuvering the puzzle, providing a scope at just how long the puzzle actually is.
Here’s everyone minus Natalie on Jabeni in frame as Mike and Lyrsa come excruciatingly close to safety.
Here’s a look at the Tiva tribe joyously celebrating a win.
Here’s the happiest Natalie Cole will ever be photographed in Survivor: David vs. Goliath: with a pursed smile obscured by the rest of her tribe celebrating in front of her.
Vuku was absolutely robbed of Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4 press photos, as most of them are in the challenge or at Tribal Council. Here they are reacting to a Jeff Probst question offscreen.
Here is the iconic moment where Natalia barks back at Alec for smiling, with even Jeff Probst looking over to see the action.

Above are as many isolated Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 4 isolated photos as possible. There weren’t many this time around, and not everyone got a fair share, in case you were wondering why there were so many from Tiva and basically none from Vuku.
