3) Winner: Carl Boudreaux

Carl went from being on the outside of his tribe to finding an Idol Nullifier and joining Vuku to form a David majority. It’s still hard to say how tight he is with Davie and Elizabeth, so this episode will be crucial for Carl. If he’s able to build on his original alliance with Davie, then I think Carl will be in a great position moving forward.

Davie is a strategic thinker, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to get close to Carl, suspecting that he found an advantage at Exile Island. Plus, with David and Elizabeth voting together, I could see them continuing to work on the same page, now that they don’t have to go at each other’s throats. As a result, despite Carl missing a few days of chitchat, it looks like Davie and Elizabeth will stay David strong, which works out in Carl’s favour.

3) Loser: Alec Merlino

In one night, Alec went from being in a majority alliance with his former Goliath members to being outnumbered by Davids. Alec’s flip will put him in the good books for David, Elizabeth, and Carl, but how long will that last? Plus, Alec has lost a lot of control over his fate. He likely no longer has the power to sway votes, as he and Kara are now in the minority. The best thing Alec can hope for is to win Immunity Challenges until the merge.
