Last week should have been a simple Survivor vote. With the David and Goliath tribes swapping into three new tribes, each group just so happened to split 3-2 for the champions. Vuku, heading to Tribal Council after a frustrating Immunity Challenge lost, had a straightforward decision; Natalia, Kara and Alec would have to vote out either Davie or Elizabeth.

Both of those players are known to not give up without a fight, however, planting seeds of doubt into Alec’s mind while pitching voting out the other. The two were on the opposite side of a vote at the David tribe, giving them perfect cover to either work with the majority when trying to pull off a blindside.

With Davie saying he has Alec’s back and Elizabeth pitching making a big move to solidify a resume, Alec flipped, putting himself and Kara in a bad position with a tribe now 3-2 David strong; the opposite of every other tribe. Making a big move does not mean making a smart move.

Meanwhile, the Jabeni tribe looks to be the Davids of the Davids, even though Nick looks to crack the tribe open from the bottom. He’s already found himself making an alliance with Mike White, who cannot stand Natalie; the “wrong” kind of bossy compared to the Jeremy kind of “bossy” that he appreciated. For what it’s worth, everyone on the tribe seems to be annoyed with the way she tells others to do tasks for her.

Finally, the Tiva tribe will likely never make it to Tribal Council, as they are stacked strategically, socially, in terms of strength and with supreme intelligence. That doesn’t mean that Gabby isn’t fearful for her life in the game, as she showed worry that Christian’s charm will result in her being voted out over him should they all go to Tribal Council.
