11. Carl Boudreaux

Carl was one of the biggest characters of the merge episode, but he got his work in early and got out just as fast. He had his one confessional about accomplishing his two merge goals; get rid of Elizabeth and drink some beer. That liquid courage got the conversation going that Elizabeth “had no friends” with the David group, as Carl talked with enough people to get his target voted out.

Now what?

Carl’s closest ally in the game is Davie, and he said absolutely nothing in the merge episode. He was a ghost. Carl was also a ghost after talking to Dan and Angelina, as he is not part of the grander plots in play. The Goliaths are outwardly voting out all the Davids, while the Strike Force group of Christian, Nick, Gabby, Alec, Alison and Mike are planning to let the lesser Davids be early sacrifices.

There is one last story beat for Carl; to use the Idol Nullifier. Will he end up taking out Goliath with his slingshot? Either way, it’s an insular story.
