6. Alison Raybould

Not only did Alison step up in a big way and win the first Individual Immunity Challenge of the season, but she pushed through the weeds of obscurity at the merge and made some necessary moves. She and Mike were the ones to start coming up with the counterinsurgency within the Goliath numbers and plot for the end-game; a huge step in getting us to where we are now.

She also did a good job of looking after her own interests in talking with Alec, Mike and John about voting for Elizabeth, not Christian, and maintaining her interests for both the short-term and long-term plans. Even as Angelina huffed and puffed, Alison remained stoic and calculating at Tribal Council, hanging with Christian in speaking hard facts about factorals.

Alison also called out Angelina for jury vote-hunting without receiving any blowback; a masterful move at the merge tribal. She’s made friends, influenced people, won an Immunity Challenge and had the first confessional of the merge episode. She’s still the most under-edited character remaining in Survivor: David vs. Goliath, but it seems like she’s primed to take that next step and propel her forward momentum.

Anything to give Alison Raybould more screentime is good with me!
