4. Alec Merlino

I have to give Alec credit; he made a bunch of flashy moves in the pre-merge and at the merge and didn’t get called out. Of course, all the Goliaths know now that he flipped on Natalia and is responsible for taking her out and putting the Goliaths in jeopardy, but he’s seemingly good for now with everyone except for Angelina (who now has an even bigger target on her back).

Alec’s been pivotal in forming the bonds with the David players, including entering a double secret information reconnaissance hook-up with Christian. He’s also showing how well he can convince John not to vote against his interests by keeping Christian safe and pushing the vote back to Elizabeth in the merge episode.

He’s clearly one of the merge powerhouses, but the reason he’s not higher up is how volatile a position he put himself in due to his pre-merge play. He showed he cannot be trusted and that he’s one of the game’s biggest challenge threats outside of John Hennigan. Angelina can still do some damage and try to take him out with her, too.

Alec’s Wild Ride has no brakes; let’s see how well he performs going balls to the wall from here until the end of his game.
