With the merge coming to pass, here’s how to watch the Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 8 live stream online to see who gets voted out next.
The individual game is one of subterfuge and stealthiness in Survivor. Despite everybody playing to win a million dollars, most have to make their winning moves by positioning themselves as part of a groupthink, determined to push forward as a group until it’s time to strike as duos or trios.
David vs. Goliath has been an excellent season so far, and a big part of it is due to how many game players there are, willing to play both socially and strategically without being too bold or too timid. Even those sticking to “Goliath strong” such as John Hennigan are willing to bend that notion to protect his Brochacho Christian; a David player.
Christian, Mike, Alec and Gabby are all great, interesting characters who have been fairly active at the merge. The meek and mighty coming together is always a fun story, especially on a season like David vs. Goliath where the biblical sides of the story throw down their swords and pick up their shields to fend threats off together.
As the press photos illustrate, we have some interesting challenges ahead in tonight’s episode. The first is a team-based Reward Challenge where two teams of six must hold up eight 10-pound bags of sand above their head, with one player every 15 minutes forced to drop out. The Immunity Challenge also sees the players hold up a ball with two sticks in a precarious position.
This means not only will we see two endurance challenges back to back, but we’ll also see an Australian Survivor: Champions vs. Contenders challenge in what is, ostensibly, CBS extending their reach by crossing over international ideas. Who knows; maybe a post-39-day schedule can be in the works one day?
