Yet another bold Tribal Council has left our Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 9 power rankings scrambled, as flushed advantages switch things up.

11. Angelina Keeley

So much of the last episode hinged on Angelina and Dan facing off in an epic Individual Immunity showdown. If Angelina won the necklace, the Davids would likely have thrown all their votes onto Dan, use the Idol Nullifier and tried to take him out. Even if they couldn’t secure enough votes, Davie would likely feel compelled to protect Christian anyway.

It doesn’t bode well for Angelina’s game that so much of her standing is indicative of who to vote out. Multiple Goliaths and Davids agreed that Angelina burned her game to the ground at the Survivor: David vs. Goliath merge Tribal Council and have brushed aside her chances at winning the game. From both an edit and a player perspective, Angelina has no sway in the game.

Even though she has valid points about the gender dynamics of pitching strategic votes, Angelina’s social clout shows that she doesn’t know how to present her ideas as good ideas for a group. Her militaristic approach rubbed people the wrong way, and her attempts to mitigate Elizabeth’s callout fell on deaf ears at camp after tribal.

Angelina is playing on scorched earth, even though Natalie Napalm was voted out weeks ago.
