Survivor David vs. Goliath power rankings: Episode 10 prepares for trouble
1. Nick Wilson
Once again, everything is going Nick Wilson’s way. We’ll touch on one concern later, but only Final Tribal Council hypotheticals can take him down on what has been a path paved with golden gameplay.
First, it seems like everybody in the game wants to work with Nick. Most of the Goliaths and most of the Davids have some sort of working relationship with Nick at worst, and trendy, Big Brother-inspired alliance names at best. He’s scheming and sharing information with the Davids, yet players like Christian remain primary targets. Even those voting against his interests let him know so that they can pull a vote trick against the team that’s voting against him.
This has happened twice in three post-merge tribals, which is quite ridiculous. Nobody views him as a threat, he hasn’t made himself look like a threat, and he works closely with people that have identified themselves as threats or have been boastful in victory. That’s about as good a position as you can get in Survivor.
The only concern I may have about his winning chances is if he pisses too many people off by double-crossing what they thought were as tight alliances. Additionally, his path to the end lies in likely sitting with some huge threats or voting out huge threats that are his friends; both of which put him in a tough spot. However, when it comes to game positional awareness, Nick Wilson is tops.
