Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 10 secret scenes hint at the future
Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 10 gave us not one secret scene, but a second, laying a bigger post-tribal camp scene and a player’s future.
This post will provide Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 10 secret scenes for events that either didn’t make it to air on CBS or were padded with extended or extra scenes. We will also discuss the events of the episode at large.
A big part of scratching and surviving in Survivor is how you deal with others when you’re not sure what’s happening in the game or what just happened. The post-blindside reaction is a great way to mitigate your image as being upset or scorned, and it’s just as important not to gloat and look too triumphant and cocky.
It was hard for the Davids not to pop off a bit in the earlier moments of Survivor: David vs. Goliath and the first of two episode 10 secret scenes shows Carl doing anything but. He was gleeful about going down in history and patting himself on the back for not only being the first to use an Idol Nullifier but to use it correctly at the same time. All everyone could talk about was the advantages.
The rest was an extended look at Alec and Kara explaining why they flipped their votes on Angelina directly to Angelina’s face, which was a bit awkward of an encounter. Overall, the first secret scene wasn’t so much an elaborate, alternate view of the post-Nullifier Tribal Council reactions, but a little bit more spice. It seemed like a minute was saved from the overall edit.
The second of two Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 10 secret scenes focused more on Mike White ahead of his decision to work with Christian and push forward to the end. It was either Alison or Carl since Day 29, but here it made it look close to 100% that he was going to vote Carl. It was just a small highlight of him talking about his low-key approach to the game.
Though it might be a bit difficult to notice what with bigger characters still in the game, but Mike White has improved his social game dramatically since the first episode. He was labeled sketchy for looking for a Hidden Immunity Idol, but since giving up the ghost, he has been focusing on maintaining relationships with players like Christian, Nick, and here with Alison and Angelina.
Neither of these secret scenes makes sense to keep in the edit. The first would potentially take away any part of the lengthy Immunity Challenge that became one of the best competitions in Survivor history. The second would give away where Mike was going to vote long before necessary.
