Christian made a big move that went against one of his longest alliances in the game. The Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 12 promo teases the fallout.

With Carl acting as The Godfather of the merged tribe, it became a point of contention for Christian and Gabby in the previous episode of Survivor: David vs. Goliath. If they were sitting beside him at the end, it would become difficult for them to earn credit for making moves throughout the game. That’s why they employed Kara, Alison and Mike to blindside him.

It was drawing a line in the sand not specifically for anyone, but you can’t make a move in Survivor without causing a splash sending a ripple throughout the game. As the promo for David vs. Goliath episode 12 shows for “So Smart They’re Dumb,” Christian didn’t let his “number one” ally, Nick Wilson, know ahead of time, fracturing the alliance down a veritable … Mason-Dixon Line.

There’s a lot of information coming out of this promo, leading off with the idea of Christian being dead to Nick in this game and Christian knowing that the southern part of this alliance shall rise again(st) him. We also see the reactions to Gabby’s plan to blindside Christian as indicated in the “Next Time On Survivor” preview, which aims to be a huge distraction considering Christian’s Hidden Immunity Idol.

Additionally, we get glimpses of both the Reward Challenge and the Immunity Challenge. Let’s start with the former, as it looks like four teams of two will work together to compete for a guaranteed shot at spending some time with their loved ones. That’s right, the Loved Ones visit is back, so be prepared to shed some tears! The Reward Challenge looks like you’ll go through an obstacle course, dig up two balls and try to land them on top of a narrow platform.

The Immunity Challenge is interesting due to the fact that it combines dexterity, balance and endurance. We’ve already seen Christian beast out the latter portion in the previous episode, and with his game in the balance, we could see him pull out an epic win and see the rest of the tribe scramble for a plan B.
