4. Davie Rickenbacker

Hot off an Immunity Challenge win he stole from Carl because Jeff Probst spoke out an incorrect word that was close to what the producers want, Davie was on the opposite side of a Christian and Gabby vote for the second time this game. Just like last time, because we didn’t see much of Davie’s involvement in the leadup to the blindside, it benefits him once more.

For starters, Carl was probably Davie’s closest ally in the game. This will hurt his ability to weave a path to the Final Tribal Council, but in this situation, he’s removed from the most volatile players vulnerable in the game. Christian and Gabby made a move against the Davids to negate part of Christian’s alliance with Nick, meaning Christian, Gabby and Nick are the likeliest targets to receive votes.

Furthermore, with the Davids and Goliaths at an even 4-4 split, the only way I can see Davie get voted out is some sort of double idol blank vote, and either rocks are drawn, or a re-vote among other candidates draws him into the vote for some reason. Still, he doesn’t have a ton of win equity worthy of being higher on the Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 12 power rankings.
