The final Survivor: David vs. Goliath juror revealed before finale night, the latest boot arrives at Ponderosa to chow down and talk about the game at large.

Warning: This post discusses the events of Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 13, who was voted out and the headline of the Ponderosa video below created by CBS includes the name of the person voted out of the game (good lord).

This is going to be a huge paragraph. The second and third paragraphs will be extended, as well. They need to be lengthened because someone at CBS decided that they can release 23 videos of confessionals, bonus content, secret scenes and challenge video with proper titles within a few minutes of the West Coast’s airing of Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 13 but leave the video file name the same for the most spoilerific video of them all.

That’s right, the Survivor Ponderosa video for the seventh member of the jury has the name of the person who was just voted out, even if you haven’t seen it yet. It was a shocking episode overall, as it looked like Davie was hoodwinking Nick, then Nick hoodwinking Davie, then Davie hoodwinking Alison until two idols were played and a split vote tactic took out the most powerful person in the game.

That should be enough spacing preamble to allow us to get into spoilers; Christian Hubicki is out of the game. He headed to Doctor Joe and the Ponderosa jury crew not upset, mad, or defeated; he took this as a new, exciting experience in life. It’s how he played the game, and you could tell the jury was sad to see him voted out.

Not only was he the most hungry player in modern history (he apparently ate the most food of any David vs. Goliath jury member so far), but he was hungry for information. Christian saw this opportunity to dig deep into Survivor Science, bringing out the whiteboard to discuss aspects of the game, including the merit of variance and how it affects the Idol Nullifier in seasons going forward.

It was refreshing to see a Ponderosa video have the players nakedly discuss the merits and downfalls of their most recent twist in the game, but Christian Hubicki was more than prepared to lead a class on any subject. It would prove to be an excellent practice for his current work as the robotics professor at Florida State University; a place that hopefully allows for lenient time off during the summer months in case Survivor brings him back to the island.
