Though she wanted Natalie out first, it was a total blindside that sent her packing in Survivor: David vs. Goliath. Should Natalia Azoqa return?

It’s one thing to make a plan in Survivor; it’s another thing entirely to stick to the plan. Angelina, Natalia and Kara made a plan early on in the Goliath tribal stage to form a commanding six-person alliance based on looping in one guy each. Kara could bring Dan into the fold, Angelina worked well with John, and Natalia had Alec in her corner (or so she thought). That gave them a commanding six out of ten players.

Before that, Natalia Azoqa was a hard-working member of the Goliaths, using her engineering skills to help build a proper shelter to weather the unforgiving storm. She could not stand people who were commanding others without contributing themselves, setting up the early tribe rivalry of Natalia versus Natalie.

It never really culminated into anything substantial, as both players were separated at the tribe swap. Luckily for Natalia, she swapped into the Vuku tribe with Kara and Alec; both of which she planned on working with into the merge. Despite it being a matter of whether it should be Davie or Elizabeth they should vote out, Natalia couldn’t let sleeping dogs lie.

She started to freak out and get paranoid over a good thing she had on Vuku because Kara had small similarities to Elizabeth. This started to get Alec and Kara nervous, but the former was already listening to plans from Davie and Elizabeth, separately. He was content to make a big move, but he needed the push necessary to convince him.

As the Vuku tribe lost the Immunity Challenge, Natalia got weirdly commanding, didn’t listen to Alec and bullied Davie, a willing participant, into shutting up and doing what she wants. That proved too much for Alec, who whispered to Elizabeth about his plan to vote out Natalia. As such, she was blindsided in a 3-2 vote, talking smack to Alec on the way out the door.
