One of the most controversial Survivor: David vs. Goliath characters, Natalie Cole was a key player in very entertaining moments. Should she return in the future?

The Goliath tribe was supposed to be comprised of titans of industry; people who stand high in social standing. That definition was a bit tenuous, as Natalie Cole entered the game of Survivor with one of the strongest David vs. Goliath stories of all as she fought hard to become the CEO of the largest black-owned newspaper on the West Coast.

Of course, Survivor doesn’t care who you are before the game, and acting as if you’re a CEO on the island is going to quickly find yourself problems. That’s how Natalie Cole played the game out the gate, telling a tribe of egotistical players what to do as they built the shelter as she did relatively nothing to contribute herself.

Treating other players as if they were her employees rubbed people the wrong way, especially the engineer Natalia who was doing most of the logistical and heavy work. This set up a rivalry that unfortunately never had the opportunity to go anywhere, as the Goliaths were too busy winning. However, Natalie did have a series of blowups on the Goliath tribe, including with Jeremy (voted out) and Dan.

She threatened to bring out Natalie napalm, but the moment she really scorched the earth below her was on the Jabeni tribe. In an effort to help Angelina get a jacket from Lyrsa after her planned elimination on a five-person tribe, Natalie tried to bully Nick into getting that jacket to save his skin. It was there that Nick was able to use his relationship with Mike White to finally pull the trigger and blindside Natalie, while Angelina voted for Lyrsa so that she could beg for Natalie’s jacket.
