Survivor: Elizabeth Olson’s AMA reveals storm evacuation details
Continuing the recent trend of Survivor AMAs, Elizabeth Olson offers up her perspective on David vs. Goliath, including what they did when the storm arrived.
What made Survivor: David vs. Goliath excellent was just how well the cast gets along with each other after the show. Even though there are some bad apples that didn’t even make it to the reunion, there was a lot of post-game crossover of Davids and Goliaths, and Elizabeth Olson is a prime example of a player that you can’t judge based on their cover.
Elizabeth took the time to answer some questions from the Survivor subreddit community on Monday in an Ask Me Anything format, and as well as she could, got into some of the nitty gritty details about what happens when the cameras aren’t rolling. Primarily, she did provide a few comments about what it was like to be at the evacuation shelter during the Fijian cyclone.
Interestingly, over those two days, players couldn’t talk with one another nor see players from the other tribe. They were provided meager rice and fruit that would have been found on the beach and could only talk to ask to go to the bathroom. The players also got to binge Millennials vs. Gen X and Cambodia: Second Chances, which is an interesting way to pass the time.
So much has been made about who would be the first boot in Survivor: David vs. Goliath if Pat didn’t get evacuated, and Elizabeth goes against the grain in saying that it was 80% going to be Nick. She also regretted not getting the chance to work with Alison, who she sees as a role model for her daughters.
Elizabeth expounded upon who were the likeliest winners of Survivor: David vs. Goliath if they made it to the end, and Christian, then Alison, then Davie, seemed to be the winner contenders. The perspective of the Queen or King of Ponderosa is always interesting because although they saw the individual game the least, they get to hear the rest of the jury at their rawest. It’s another great AMA you should fully read through.
