Survivor Edge of Extinction episode 4 promo: Water torture

There’s enough drama going on before the tribes even swap, as we can see in the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 promo.

Though this Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 promo will showcase parts of next week’s show in progress, all of it happens before revealing which players swapped to different tribes.

Something that Extinction Island is trying to convey more than Redemption Island ever did is how hard it is to survive on so few amenities. This week, we saw players climb the mountaintop of the island just to get a small bit of rice; expending who knows how many calories just to get a few in return.

With so little that CBS can show in a swap episode available to share without the threat of spoilers, the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 promo video shows just how hard it is on Extinction Island with a new twist; the pouring rain. Though it seems like the focus remains on Reem being the enigmatic presence of the fortress of solitude, Chris does call it torture and Keith laments about how all you can do is stew in anger.

Meanwhile, not only does Wendy let loose the chickens of reward (per the “Next Time On Survivor” preview), people are now aware she stole the flint. She’s even gleeful to David about how she’s just getting warmed up on tribe shenanigans, pretending she’s a warrior for a just cause when she’s coming off more and more like Russell Hantz by the minute.

All of that gets put on the backburner, though, as the tribe swap will mean that everyone’s games are up in the air. This commercial seemed to pretend like the tribes weren’t being swapped and that there’s a more compelling “twist” in store, which is a reverse of fate over revealing Keith did, in fact, go to Extinction Island in last week’s promo.
