The Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 preview spends a good amount of time showing Wendy trying to be a sneaky villain who has more in store.

These Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 preview videos will showcase moments from the episode before the inevitable tribe swap.

So much of Survivor: Edge of Extinction so far has been about the returnees. “We should target the returnees.” “Joe and Aubry are together.” “Me, a returnee, wants to blindside the other returnee first because I know they’re gunning for me.” We’ve seen little character development for the new players except for people on the outs. For example, Wendy Diaz is the show’s most prominent newbie right now.

It makes sense; she’s doing wild card things in a rather straightforward season. That’s why her continued antics are the focus of the first Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 preview video, as she continues to delude herself about how well she’s sabotaging the camp around her. Unfortunately, despite planting the flint back at camp and David “finding” it again, nobody’s buying what she’s selling.

Kelly immediately figured it out, Lauren said, “That’s not normal,” Wendy supposedly told Rick her master plan in being a wild card and David outright questioned her about whether she wants to win the game.

It’s an honest question because I’m not sure how you gain votes or respect of a jury unless you’re among the bitted players voted out, earn your shot back in the game through the Edge of Extinction and stay safe for two rounds after spending most of your time with other voted-out players. But who would sign off on that kind of season?

The second of the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 preview videos doesn’t go too much in depth, as it’s the moment where Jeff Probst talks about how you don’t know what’s coming around the corner in this game before, almost without pause, tells the players to do the one thing they expect; drop their buffs. We’re expanding from two tribes to three; something that all of the returning players should expect, as well as the returnees.
