Despite a tribe swap scenario, Manu minus Wendy moved to Lesu, and the Kama dynamics shift per our Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 5 power rankings.

18. Keith Sowell

It’s harder and harder not to see Keith as someone who was completely unprepared for the harsh, unforgiving nature of Survivor. Even though he’s not the first visitor to the Edge of Extinction, he’s already battling his own mind and taking the easy route to Ponderosa, openly discussing the pros and cons of quitting the game. Paired with the notion that Reem needs to parent him in this game, Keith looks the least prepared of all on this latent part of the game.

17. Reem Daly

While it would have been downright crazy for a first boot to win Survivor: Edge of Extinction, we’re seeing more evidence each week why it would be a crazy thought for this first boot to pull it off. Reem’s social game got her voted out of the game, and even if she somehow found her way back into the game, her role in razzing people who voted her out shows she has no idea how to interact with people who have power over her and who can help her win in the end.

16. Rick Devens

While I have high hopes for Rick in the long term (read our Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 4 edgic piece on Tuesday), at this point in the game, he sits on a beach where he had a hand in everyone’s elimination. Whereas Chris was a number, Rick was a leader, voted out only by circumstance. He will have a harder time integrating with a tribe that opposes him so much, although he has many Manu friends if he gets back into the active game.
