3) Julia Carter

If Gavin is under the radar, that makes Julia almost invisible. It took five episodes for the editors to finally give her a confessional. Other than those short clips, most of the time when we hear Julia’s name it’s from Jeff Probst commending her efforts in a challenge.

It all started when Julia was able to hit a target with a massive slingshot in the third Immunity Challenge. This was so amazing because you saw a bunch of big, athletic men hitting and missing their targets, and then Julia comes along and nails hers. She was also the only female to release a buoy on her first try in last week’s challenge.

Besides her physical abilities, Julia has also been solid at puzzles this season. Whether if she’s solving them with Ron or Joe, she has come up clutch on several occasions. She played a key role in solving both the buoy puzzle and the slide puzzle from the previous episode. Although the edit isn’t in her favor, Julia has the potential to win both physical and mental challenges. She has proven her status as the most athletic woman on the island.
