With so many players betrayed and no true alliances formed yet, the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 9 promo teases an explosive Tribal Council.

This Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 9 promo for “Y’all Making Me Crazy” will show portions of the upcoming show as it will air next Wednesday.

This week, we saw an epic betrayal the likes we’ve hardly seen before in Survivor. A majority alliance, with seven Kama members against five Lesu members (with one defector), began to eat themselves alive, with Gavin and Julia being swayed heavily by Wardog into going after Eric and Ron. Despite having an 8-5 majority at the start of the merge, Kama saw themselves vote out Joe and Eric in succession.

Pretty much, Kama played themselves, as tribal lines have been completely erased after this past week’s Tribal Council. However, it seems like we’re now in the era of voting blocs over hard formed alliances, as the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 9 promo for “Y’all Making Me Crazy” shows that trust has been completely erased and everyone is on the edge of … paranoia, not extinction.

“Loneliness” is the first theme of the episode, apparently, as we get the chance to see Eric Hafemann this time look out stoically into the distance on the Edge of Extinction. It also permeates to Julie, who feels like nobody is watching out for her as she breaks down in tears. “Fear” of being voted out is what leads to Ron’s paranoia.”

However, a barrage of “who voted for me?” and “I’m ready to jump ship,” among other quotes, is part of the epic Tribal Council being teased, as both Jeff Probst and the jury are ecstatic about what unfolds next week. Will we see an idol played? Multiple idols? Some random voting assortment that sees a tied vote? Absolutely anything can happen in what will hopefully be the turning point for Survivor: Edge of Extinction.
