8. Julia Carter
Julia did a great job in whipping the vote and following through on Wardog’s plan to sabotage her own alliance. She even checked in with Eric first to see where his head was at on David and Devens and knew he would rather have them as loyal numbers for the upcoming civil war. However, she betrayed Kama and has very few allies in the game with nobody who would shield her.
7. David Wright
Whereas Rick Devens has completely jumped ship en route to joining the Kama train, David Wright overcame his differences with Kelley Wentworth in order to come to a voting bloc consensus. He still received the majority of merge votes at any post-merge tribal while not being voted out, so he’s clearly on people’s radars. However, Rick might be indebted to hand over the other half of the idol if David’s in danger.
6. Rick Devens
I believe David would hand over the other half of the idol over to Rick in case he was a vote target, but the damage is done; Rick Devens lost all his goodwill with the jury and the players still in the game by flipping so overtly in front of all remaining players. Still, the chaos of this upcoming tribal keeps the target off of him, I think.
5. Gavin Whitson
Whereas Julia ran with Wardog’s suggestion, Gavin helped orchestrate it in a way that doesn’t get too much blood on his hands. Sure, he’s lost his number one ally in the game, but he also was instrumental in voting out his then ride-or-die ally in the first place. I doubt he would be voted out at this spot, and he is a superfan who’s adaptable and unpredictable.
