Watch the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 9 live stream online tonight so you can see what is being teased as one of the craziest Tribal Councils.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, two people from a Survivor majority alliance decide to listen to a guy on the bottom of a minority alliance that goes by the name “Wardog.” Such is life as we approach Edge of Extinction episode 9 tonight, as Julia and Gavin decided to betray their own alliance at the Final 11 (knowing one more person will return) in order to make big movez.
It’s hard not to blame Julia; she saw that Ron and Eric (the former of which called themselves the puppet master) wanted to work with David and Devens in the long term and use them as pawns in a future civil war. While Gavin and Julia were put off by Aubry’s wish to have an open dialogue, they were worn down by the elements to listen to Wardog’s open lines of communication.
Getting back to Rick Devens, what happened to this man? Survivor is a numbers game and a trust game, and even though trust may feel like the most important factor in a game of truth and lies, looking at the situation logically keeps players in the game. That’s why it was such a brazenly dumb move to outwardly jump onto the Kama train and announce your lack of intentions to work with any player.
The biggest reason why is because we enter Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 9 on the brink of a meltdown. Nobody knows who to trust; many have been backstabbed by many others. Voting blocs are being formed, but what’s the next step?
