Ron is about to make a huge play to get support from all sides, as the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 12 preview teases his Advantage Menu play.
This Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 12 preview shows what may be the first minute of this week’s show as it will air on television.
Right now, it appears as though Rick is the odd man out. After Wardog was voted off and Ron deceived him once more, it seems as though he has nobody to turn to and will likely be the next vote target. Though everyone is free to play the game they want, you can’t say that Rick’s not in the position he is because of Ron.
Though Ron doesn’t have to apologize for his behavior, it’s clear that he wants to get in Rick’s good graces anyway. The Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 12 preview video, uploaded to CBS’ social media accounts earlier today, showcase Ron’s thinking as he tries to get Rick back in his good graces.
It’s clear that Ron plans to make everyone feel good about himself, whether it’s possible to do so or not. The problem with this strategy is that the way Ron plans to go about this with Rick, as we saw in the “Next Time On Survivor” tag at the end of last week’s episode, involves giving Rick the Advantage Menu that expired before the tribe swap.
Sure, if this is Survivor: Gabon and everyone on the jury and at Final Tribal Council is an emotional mess, then maybe unnecessarily giving a player false hope before ripping it away from them at an elimination will help earn their jury vote. However, Rick will find out about it, and it will come back to bite Ron. It’s not a respectable move in the long term, even if it does give Rick pause right now.
