Survivor Edge of Extinction episode 13 power rankings: Playing favorites
1. Lauren O’Connell
Surprisingly, Lauren is in the safest spot of any player left in Survivor: Edge of Extinction. She has the benefits of her partnership with Victoria and working with Aurora and Gavin, but also is the only player left with a Hidden Immunity Idol. Having seen so many players voted out without using theirs and finally seeing someone use theirs when they need to, Lauren has an added layer of security.
However, her status as an original Lesu member does come in to question next week (not so much when both Rick and Aurora are in the game). Most of the jury are Lesu members who would likely vote for Lauren if neither of the bigger targets are left in the game, and I think the original Kama members might think to remember that.

It will be interesting to see where Lauren goes after this week. It might come down to who returns from the Edge of Extinction, which gives her another shield and another target for others to vote out before her. Lauren isn’t viewed as much of a threat right now, but considering all the biggest players are poised to go Wild West on each other, she could emerge from the rubble unscathed.
