Finally, for the love of all that is good in Survivor: Edge of Extinction, the finale will pick a champion to rejoin the Final Six. Here are the photos.

Man, the sooner we get to the Survivor: Edge of Extinction finale, the better. That’s not to say that this season was too much of a bummer, but it will mean that we will finally see the best of the 11 discarded players from the game competing for their shot at a million dollars. No more scenes of people reading letters from themselves; the most narcissistic moment we’ve seen all season.

Because we are going from the Final Five to the Final Six to the Final Five, Final Four, then Immunity Challenge, then Firemaking Challenge, then the Final Tribal Council, there are a ton of moments that will take up the two-plus-hour Survivor: Edge of Extinction finale.

Let’s look at the first moments of the Edge of Extinction Challenge and shots of Jeff Probst and food instead, since showing anything else would constitute spoilers.

We don’t have that many clues for the late phases, but it does involve a lot of rope. I believe some of it is collected here on these large, upright poles and carrying it further down the line.

As you can see from Joe’s progress, Aubry is still very far behind, while Eric is very close beside him. Who knows how close Chris, Kelley and Aurora are to him, but they’re in the ballpark late.
