3) Ron Clark

Dubbed as the villain of Survivor: Edge of Extinction, Ron surprised viewers with his strategic and controlling gameplay. He excelled at building strong and genuine relationships that he could later use to manipulate strategically.

For the entire pre-merge game, Ron was excessively pushing for Kama staying strong, while sneakily making plans with Eric, Gavin, Julia and Victoria to blindside a returnee. When the merge came, Ron took advantage of Joe losing the challenge by blindsiding him.

However, Ron let the power get to his head. He hit rock bottom after his two closest allies got their torches snuffed. What’s remarkable about Ron’s game though, is that he’s one of the few players who fell from the top, didn’t get voted out, and was able to regain his power.

His social game was stronger than ever, securing trust with Gavin, Julie, Aurora and Wardog. He proved to be a key part in Wardog’s plan to take out Wentworth and he wasn’t afraid to let the jury know that.

Ron did an expert job of making everyone feel comfortable, as even Rick mentioned that he thought he was close to Ron before he left him out of a vote. His perfect blend of strategy and social manipulation quickly gave Ron control over the game. However, that level control made him overconfident, and that led to his demise twice.
