Sneaking up less than a month after the most recent season of Survivor aired on television, the Ghost Island DVD set is now available on Amazon.
At the Survivor: Game Changers reunion, Jeff Probst asked the jury to provide a show of hands for who would vote for Brad Culpepper and who would vote for Tai had Sarah been eliminated before Final Tribal Council. It was a tie vote, where Probst explained that the rules would force the third-place player to become the final, decisive jury member, breaking the tie and deciding the winner.
Lo and behold, days later Jeff Probst would fly out to film Survivor: Ghost Island, where this exact scenario played out in one of the most infamous finale moments in the show’s history. It made for a great TV moment, and now you, too, can maintain a physical copy of that and the episodes that preceded it.
The Survivor: Ghost Island DVD set became available to purchase on Amazon last month, retailing at $39.99 and coming in a 5-disc set. You can click on the image below to be taken directly to the website, with the season running for 689 minutes of Wendell Holland and Domenick Abbate wondering just how they’re going to navigate their way to the end while everyone on Malolo implodes during the process.
You can really tell who CBS considers the most popular castaways of the season, with Donathan Hurley joining finalists Wendell and Domenick at the top of the Ghost Island DVD cover. Both this season and David vs. Goliath (which just recently released on DVD) features four men and two women, but the Naviti/Malolo split is more even than the more recent season to air on TV.
When it comes to alternative digital options, there are fewer than you’d like. There are individual episodes available for $2.99 in HD, but it seems as though you’ll need CBS All Access to get, well, all access to Survivor: Ghost Island in its totality.
Disclosure: FanSided receives an affiliate portion of sales linked on Surviving Tribal.
