Survivor Marquesas: Most memorable moments from season 4

“I need somebody who can pee on my hand.”

In a memorable, but gross moment, we have Kathy urinating on John. Let’s get to the whole story, which doesn’t really make that first sentence any less gross.

The Rotu tribe was doing well, but episode 3 saw them experience three injuries in one day. The most memorable of the bunch was when John was in the ocean and got stung by a jellyfish.

Well, for those who watched season 4 of Friends, you’d know that peeing on the sting helps with the pain. John, being a registered nurse, knew this and yelled out for help to his tribe.

“I need somebody who can pee on my hand! Somebody who has to go to the bathroom!”

Paschal attempted to urinate on John’s hand, but couldn’t do it, so Kathy politely stepped up to the challenge and got the job done. While we all were watching thinking how disgusting that was, when you’re in that much pain, you don’t have a choice, and John even mentioned that he wasn’t thinking about the gross situation he was in during that painful moment.

Even with this event taking place in 2002, it still goes down as one of the more memorable “injury” moments in the series history, but it taught us a valuable lesson about survival.
