12. Tom Laidlaw

Though I’d love to rate the first Canadian-born (but not first Canadian citizenSurvivor player higher on our pow, he is the oldest player in the game with a tribe that looks to go to Tribal Council first. His strength might carry him for a round or two, but you want to avoid as much variance and showing your cards early.

11. Elaine Stott

Though the oldest woman on a tribe tends to be an easy first boot, Elaine’s likability might allow her to find a core group to work with early on in the game. I think she has mid-to-endgame potential if she can make it far, but getting there is half the battle.

10. Ronnie Bardah

Poker players have had a rough go in Survivor so far, but I’m hoping that Ronnie has Jean-Robert potential when it comes to placement. He looks like a hard worker who will fight for his tribe’s immunity (unlike JRB), but if it gets out that he’s a poker player, he could be toast.

9. Aaron Meredith

One of the most athletically built musclemen, I feel like Aaron has a chance to lead Lairo as a figurehead. Will he play like Brandon, or will he opt to be a more tribe strength-oriented player? Regardless, with the Island of the Idols twist in play, it will be hard to see a group of people vote him onto the island, so we’ll have to see how he plays at the tribe camp.
