We know that somebody has been chosen to visit Boston Rob and Sandra next week, but the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 2 synopsis hints at the task.

At the very beginning of Survivor: Island of the Idols, we were given the rundown of Boston Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine’s involvement in the game as mentors. Seemingly every week, there will be a new player visiting their island to learn a new lesson in the game, followed by a test of skills to risk earning a reward or losing an option in the game.

Elizabeth Beisel was the first player to visit the island, learning how to make a fire from Boston Rob before making a wager that she can beat him out in making a fire in a race. Instead of earning an Immunity Idol good for her next two Tribal Councils, she lost to Boston Rob, resulting in losing her vote at the very first Tribal Council. Her vote didn’t end up mattering, so she wasn’t exposed just yet.

What’s next for Boston Rob and Sandra’s involvement in the game? Here is the official Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 2 synopsis provided by CBS, cutting off the reminder that the episode titled “YOLO, Let’s Play!” airs on Wednesday, October 2 at 8 p.m. ET:

"One castaway puts their mind to work when given a new opportunity on the Island of the Idols. Also, tribes must climb their way to the top during a tough immunity challenge…"

Before Elizabeth left the island, she pulled a name from the Vokai tribe to be the next person to visit the Island of the Idols. This means one of ten players from the other tribe might be involved in one of the tests teased in the opening minutes of the premiere; the art of persuasion, calculated risk or staying calm under pressure.

If a castaway is putting “their mind to work,” I would have to think that they will either be making a calculated risk or trying to persuade Boston Rob or Sandra about an aspect of their life. What will be interesting is to see whether or not another Immunity Idol will be staked or if a different reward will be offered at this time.

The second half of the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 2 synopsis hints at the grueling Immunity Challenge, as tribes will need to prop up a ladder in the water to see one of their own players climb it to the top to retrieve a bag needed for the rest of the challenge. That much is seen in this week’s press photos.
