Survivor Island of the Idols episode 3 promo: Tactical Espionage Action
Lairo gives one of their members in dire straits the cold shoulder and a sneaking mission is assigned in the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 3 promo.
This Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 3 promo shows a few moments from the episode as they will air on television, as well as a potential spoiler for who visits the mentors.
Earlier today, host and executive producer Jeff Probst proclaimed that he has helped prevent spoilers from getting out in future Survivor: Island of the Idols promos. Well, that would immediately become tested with the usual Friday afternoon spot being the time when the commercials for the coming week would be uploaded to YouTube.
Lo and behold, minutes after we reported the good news, we can say that the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 3 promo for “Honesty Would Be Chill” did contain a spoiler if you were paying close attention before it was updated on Saturday with the video below. Though I had figured that the episode title would be dropped by somebody who is decently dope like Missy Byrd (it still could be), now I see Karishma Patel with the potential after this promo.
Part of this scene was teased in the “Next Time on Survivor” preview at the end of this week’s show, but now we can see it’s Karishma who suffers a reported bone-deep cut from a blade only for nobody on her tribe to come to her aid 15 feet away. If that does appear to be the case, then her Abi-Maria-like declaration of the tribe f—ing with her, thus all of them are dead to her, should be warranted.
Next week’s Island of the Idols test was also teased in the dying minutes of this week’s episode, but upon closer inspection of the Vokai map, you can see a tinge of medium-length black hair. Update: It has since been removed and replaced with a more zoomed-in shot, but it was too late for others to piece the clues together.
Though they did try to not showcase the face or body of the person on the Island of the Idols, the attempts to cut off spoilers came up just a bit short this week.
