12. Jack Nichting
Due to edgic, I have a bit more hope for Jack out of either him or Jamal because he was seemingly shielded from the perceived “malice” of overconfidence out of anyone in the King, Queen, Jack trio. More importantly, we’ve established before this episode that he’s still in Tommy’s corner, so he might be able to shift away from Jamal and go forward with the tribe favorite.
11. Tom Laidlaw
Though he couldn’t get the fire going, he was self-aware in the fact that Chelsea stepped up for Lairo even though it could have bruised his “male ego.” I’m quite familiar with dry Canadian humour (as well as Canadian Dry humour), and this seemed to be a jab at both him and Aaron, the latter of which was huffing and puffing when he was wronged. Because of his closeness with Elaine and Vince, I think he’s in a middle-of-the-road path right now.
10. Dan Spilo
Though we never really resolved the handsy Dan storyline that well, we did see Dan in the middle of social (not strategic) Vokai conversations in Survivor: Island of the Idols. He helped stir the pot and continue the “point the finger at anybody but me” strategy with Noura yet remained in the know with the vote. He seems to know where the vote lies, and sometimes, that’s enough.
