9. Missy Byrd

I had previously shown concerns about Missy being targeted heading into a tribe swap because Elizabeth and Elaine showed extreme concern about her ability to flip on an ally like Chelsea on a dime. However, with a potential 4-4 scenario on Vokai 2.0 ahead of Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 6, she is well connected with every former Lairo member with connections to Tommy via Aaron.

If Tommy is to build an army, he needs partners and people looking out for their own backs. Missy fits that bill.

8. Jason Linden

Jason has recovered so well from his early “isolation” that I have to go with Molly’s assessment that he was isolating himself. He then went from guiding an entire tribe blindfolded (an inherently monumental leap in trust) and has transitioned to a station where everyone on his former tribe needs to stay together.

However, on the off chance Vokai throws one of their own under the bus, based on early narrative, he has to be the one to fall on the sword.

7. Jack Nichting

There’s some sort of connection he’s going to build in the next episode of Survivor: Island of the Idols if the promo for this week’s episode is to be believed. The fact that it’s been hyped up to be such a big moment reveals to me that Jack isn’t going to be cut off at the knees just yet, especially when he’s recovered from his stumbles earlier in the game.
