Here is a look at the best tweets from current and past castaways after the exciting events from episode 6 of Survivor: Island of the Idols.

This article discusses the events from episode 6 of Survivor: Island of the Idols.

Survivor producers can only bring us so much content in a standard sixty minute episode. In addition to secret scenes and little tidbits of information CBS shares on Twitter, there’s also a wealth of interesting details and funny reactions from current and past castaways to take in.

In this season alone we’ve already had Jeff Probst stand up against spoilers in Survivor promos, and Sandra reveal plenty of details about the Island of the Idols twist, including her hand in concealing Kellee’s idol! This new weekly feature will take a look at some of the most essential tweets from during and after the events of each episode.

Before the start of the episode, a pair of Edge of Extinction castaways had some funny comments to share:

Vokai proved to be victorious in the Reward Challenge, but they couldn’t figure out what do with it! Viewers watched the castaways completely oblivious to dealing with their newly acquired chickens, which was bound to spark some hilarious reactions.

That motivated Gabon and Heroes vs. Villains castaway Randy Bailey, to invent his own award.

In a moment that was bigger than the game, Jamal’s interaction with Jack proved to be a highlight of this episode. Many castaways weighed in on what went down, especially after Julia Carter didn’t get her story heard in Edge of Extinction.

The mentors were fairly quiet this week. Boston Rob and Sandra both mentioned how much they loved their visit with Elaine. Besides that, Sandra once again confirmed that the only time they leave the Island of the Idols is when they secretly attend Tribal Council.

Then it was time for that crazy Tribal Council where the original Lairo members took Vokai by storm. Elaine and Jason shared how they felt after this shocking blindside.

Those are just some of the highlights from the Twitter reactions to this week’s episode. It can be tough to keep up with, but it’s cool to see the perspectives from previous and current castaways, especially when they touch on details that the edit didn’t cover.
