After starting off Survivor: Island of the Idols so well, the original Vokai members on both tribes are looking more and more vulnerable heading into episode 7.

Tonight’s episode of Survivor: Island of the Idols might be the last one before the merge! Even after these two swapped tribes have had nearly a week to work together, there’s still a ton of uncertainty and turmoil amongst both tribes. We might see that anxiety boil over in tonight’s action. Here are three stories to watch for in episode 7 of Island of the Idols.

1) Can old Vokai get over their blindside

It’s an understatement to say that Tommy, Lauren, and Dan were completely shocked by what happened last Tribal Council. This group of original Vokai members were oozing out confidence in their majority, but they did not see Elaine’s Block a Vote advantage coming.

Understandably so, these three castaways will struggle with the idea that beyond all odds, they are in the minority. However, how they react will be key to their survival. They have to remember that Aaron and Missy are strategic players always looking for a big move. If they can’t get over their blindside and put themselves further on the outs in the process, then they better hope their tribe wins immunity.

2) Jamal and Noura are set to fight it out at Lairo

The promos for this episode teased drama within the majority alliance on Lairo. Despite the fact that the original Vokai members possess a five to two majority on the new Lairo tribe, it looks like they’re not content with picking off the minority just yet.

In Tom Laidlaw’s exit interview on RHAP, he mentioned how there was a lot of tension between Jamal and Noura. Even though the edit hasn’t featured too much of that yet, it looks like this feud has been building up until tonight. We’ll have to see if the two will be able to keep their differences aside to keep their alliance strong.

3) Where is that Lairo idol?

With tonight possibly being the last episode before the tribes merge, it might be the final chance for those at the Lairo beach to find an idol there. Ever since Chelsea got blindsided, nobody has found that re-hidden idol yet. Maybe production didn’t even recycle that idol, leaving the idol and advantage business for the merge and the Island of the Idols visits. Either way, episode 7 should shed more light on the idol situation, especially if Lairo heads to Tribal Council.
